Burlap Valentines Day Decor

One of my favorite Internet friends is Jenn from Redberry Barn
She always comes up with the most amazing things and executes them very beautifully!

Well, she's at it again:
Using burlap to decorate for Valentines Day!
Love it Jenn!

Click here to see how she made this Valentines Advent Calender
Jenn, you are AMAZING!!!!

Great Burlap Wreath

I'm loving this wreath!
Melinda made it  :D
She was actually in the process of making a Valentine's wreath, but ended up with a burlap wreath instead!
Funny!

Anyway, it's great, and you can see how she made it right here.
Happy crafting!

I love Lucy: Featuring the Potato Sack Dress

There is NO-ONE like Lucy to make a fashion statement that sweeps the world!

In the March 19, 1956 episode of "I Love Lucy"
Lucy, after attending a fashion show with Ethel,  begs and begs Ricky to buy her a "Paris Original" dress by the highly desirable designer Jacques Marcel.....

She goes as far as to "refuse to eat" until she gets one.....
{Of course she is able to sneak food with the help of Ethel.....}

In the end Ricky  and Fred "fashion"
some outrageous dresses out of burlap, placing the Jacques Marcel label inside....

The girls absolutely LOVE their "Jacques Marcel designer dresses"
and walk around like models.....
Everyone stares at them, even the brilliant and acclaimed Jacques Marcel
himself who eventually "copies" the designs,
but by that time the girls have found out on the boys
and burned the originals......

Good laughs, great entertainment....
Oh, how I love Lucy....!!!!
