Burlap Sack Skirt for the Piano Bench {Great Sewing Idea!!! }

I believe this is a skirt someone has made to go on a "table" which seems to look like a piano bench.... ?!?

I think it looks very shabby and rural Paris chic...

Sew a Burlap Potato Sack Bib Apron

A customer of mine made this apron from a potato sack she got from me. Isn't it so funny!!!!
Tami is so talented!

She suggests that this would make a wonderful Bridal Shower gift for your shabby daughter or friend! I think she's right!
Please be careful with washing it, though....!!!! You may want to just spot-clean it only.....

Best Pincushion Ever - Made with a Potato Sack

Has this ever happened to you? You sit down on the couch to do a little hand-sewing, and then you realize that you forgot your scisssors....So.... You get up and get them. Then you stitch along and soon you realize that you are short some thread... So.... You get up to get some more thread. You keep stitching. Then you realize that you need some pins..... So.... You get up and get those....
etc. etc. etc.

It is so frustrating!

That is why this is the best pincushion ever! You can sit down on the couch and bring your little pincushion. Inside you keep the matching thread, the little pair of scissors, etc. On the top are the pins and an extra needle, just in case.
Viola!

PROBLEM SOLVED. You can just sit down on the sofa and not get up till you are done stitching! Ideal!!!

NICE!! :)

And it doesn't hurt that it's CUTE because of the awesome up-cycled potato sack....

Make a Wonderful Haute Potato Headboard

,Now this is the BEST, most creative Haute Potato headboard I've ever seen!

Beauty and burlap combined at its best!
I love what the designers at C&C came up with for creative decorative use of Haute Potato burlap sacks!
They covered a headboard with them! This design just really POPS for me.
What wonderful contrast of the clean dark-colored wall and the crisp white sheets with the rugged and rustic burlap and print.
NICE WORK!!! This would definitely look very good in YOUR bedroom!!! Uh-huh!
